"The last full Moon so big and close to Earth occurred in March of 1993," says Geoff Chester of the US Naval Observatory in Washington DC. "I'd say it's worth a look."

What Mr. Chester is leading to is the release of an album, actually.

We're releasing our first full length LP ever under High in One Eye on July 21st, 2011.
We recorded it on the night of the most recent Supermoon in Henderson, LA at Dr. James Walsh's studio. The music on the album is close to being a year old already. Due to our..laziness? Yea. Laziness.

But it's here. Right before we decide to go in an interesting direction. Don't be expecting to see full sets of it live as often as it was. But don't count on not seeing it? Truth is we like to be as dynamic as possible. So just come to a show aaaaand find out what's gonna happen that night!

Digital release of the album will be announced in the coming week. It'll be released before the hard copy on July 1st.

The show will be at the Dragon's Den. Bands that will be joining in are kinda in the air. That'll be announced at some point soon too.

We've been looking forward to this for a year. Super excited for yall to hear this bullshit.

Deerhunter? Are we really that amazed with repetitive soundscapes and reverb soaked pop songs? Perhaps it is shoegaze for people that don't listen to shoegaze.

I sat down and listened to Halcyon Digest and then I decided to listen to Tears Run Rings - Distance released August 2010 (not to be found on pitchfork). But seriously, the new Deerhunter album isn't horrible but it isn't anything special either. The listening experience didn't really make me feel one way another about the song writing and the sounds used throughout the record. The lyrics and vocal melodies were interesting and that sax solo in Coronado got me in the Christmas Spirit vis-a-vis Rocking Around the Christmas Tree. I get bored as I get older too, Deerhunter.

Hello all, this is Evan hitting you with an update on High in One Eye and all of the great stuff we have planned for the summer.

So far we haven't had a practice once this summer, but we did get a MIMs oscillator curtesy of properboy. We will eventually practice and write some songs whenever we feel the vertical rays of inspiration penetrate our extremeties and permeate our interiors. Until then we are busy bees moving out of our houses and blazing new paths towards our futures as functioning human beings. Starting July 1st I will be moving into an apartment with fellow musicians/friends Dex and Byron. Dex is the guitarist for local duo The Dongles, and Byron is the founder of my other band Thom Hobbes. Andrew will be moving in with Mauricio, Alex, and Rudy I believe. He will be taking up residence in the living room, and possibly sleeping on the couch while paying 1/4 of the rent. I really have no idea what is going on with that, but once it is all worked out we will have more time to focus on the things that are really important.....school.

These films will probably influence the way I look at the music I make, and if I watch them with Andrew maybe we will both change our perspectives on our music and evolve. Either way evolution is the magic word for the summer.

Andrew and I are both working on our "solo" projects. Now I really don't know how Andrew feels about his project, as in I don't know if he is super serious about it, but as far as I am concerned my music is just something I am doing to experiment with sounds and ideas that I pulled from watching Tarkovsky films. Andrew's solo stuff is very similar to mine since we both took a class on electronic music composition, but you will find that within his music there is close detail to patterns, rhthms, and themes within his music. His use of silence and layers make the experience of his music enjoyable.

I suggest that if you are going to listen to our music you listen to it with headphones in a dark room. Expect to hear some of this electronic music on our upcoming album.

Tour Update

Hello to all you people floating around the internet, here is another fun installment of the tour blog UPDATE!!! We just got finished playing at HTGT in Baton Rouge. The past few days we played with Computer Jesus Refrigerator in San Antonio, then we had a day off and hung out with Angel (of CJF), and then we headed over to Houston and played with Rainbows in your Wildest Dreams at Super Happy Fun Land. We had a blast at all of these shows, and we also got rid of a bunch of our E.P.s. We also have a bunch of fun footage of the tour thus far, and we will be making a video soon.

Tonight we picked up ALEX MARSE. Now Marse is joining the tour and will be our personal man-slave for the rest of the dates. As of right now we are chilling in some apartment on LSU's campus.

Tomorrow we are heading to Pensacola and will be spending our day in the sun and sand, which will lead to good times and fun oldies. Hopefully we will meet up with our pal Rudy.

So we are sitting in the house that Megafauna built speaking with the bassist, while 5 dogs intently watch two dudes eating their burgers, and fish swim in tanks.

We had a great time in LAFFY and got to sleep at the house of Max from Wildfires. We woke up, ate at Popeyes, and then we took off for Austin Texas. Loooong drive. Annoying Drive. We arrived in Austin around 5:45 and walked around until the show.

Something that has been on our minds since we started thinking about touring was funding. funding, funding, funding. We're still a good bit short of our overall goal of 500 dollars. That'll ONLY cover gas. Yea. That's right. GAS. So we could still use your help. We have donation widgets set up on here and on the myspace where you can donate to paypal with your credit card. Don't worry, it's safe. I promise.

Also, if you don't have a credit card of sorts, we'll be attempting to set up a little booth/table at Loyola University to accept dollars and gratuitous amount of change. Save your change people. We could use it :D.

We have a new youtoobs up. It's a song off of the Lacanian LP (due in summer sometime) called MASTER SIGNIFIER. Maybe you've heard of it. Maybe you haven't. If you haven't, now is the time.

This was recorded at the Circle Bar at Metronome the City's Cd release party by DthSounds. Get that HD quality sound in you. In yo boday.

So we're trying to get into the merchandising thing. We have ideas for t-shirts, stickers, and other wakerdoodles to entertain the body and mind. If you have any design templates or any ideas you want to throw our way, we're open to suggestions.

We're also going to do a DVD type of documentary of the tour. We'll just be filming our road trips, fuck ups, show scenes, and other bullshit you may or may not care about. Regardless, we're going to try and document the whole thing for your viewing pleasure.

That's about all I can think of at the moment. We're prepping for the tour, trying to get money, doing it real big. Look out for us if we're coming to your city. We'll be over there soon.

Hello to all of those folks that enjoy reading up on the latest High in One Eye news. This Evan bringing you all a blog about music that I believe the vast majority would like, and even if you don't like it at least you will have something to do within our fun page of nonsense.

Before I start posting about bands I would like to talk about Foburg fest and what my choice "picks" are for you to be checking out. I don't have the dates and times so if it interferes with the time we play disregard anything I say.

Okay....be sure to check out these bands/musicians: Davy Mooney (awesome jazz guitarist with an awesome band. He was a member of the Thelonious Monk Institute...need I say more?), Pumpkin (These guys are a funk post-punk band and I happen to work with the Singer/Guitarist/Keyboardist. Their influences range from Can, Lightning Bolt, Gary War, GY!BE, and many more I have not heard about, but you can hear it in the music. They are funny but their new stuff has a more serious hue to it. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!), A Living Soundtrack (One of the most original bands in the city. I love these guys and gal and hope you all go out and experience one of the best instrumental bands in the South.)

So my top 3 list for Foburg fest consists of Davy Mooney, Pumpkin, and A Living Soundtrack.

Also check out Smiley with a Knife, Sun Hotel, Caddywhompus, and Dirty Bourbon River Show...gotta show the love for the loyola bands.

And be sure to disregard all of the above to see HIGH IN ONE EYE HIGH IN ONE EYE HIGH IN ONE EYE HIGH IN ONE EYE HIGH IN ONE EYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we shall venture to music that I believe all of you should be listening to if you aren't already. I don't want to go into too much detail but I may...I just don't want to do that all that much.

Blank Dogs - One Man Band that kicks complete ass. Very reminiscent of Chrome and Joy Division.

Blonde Redhead - If you don't listen to them already I have no idea what you have been doing for the past 3 years.

Don Caballero - They made High in One Eye with their album American Don....and they still have a full discography full of amazing stuff.

O. Lamm - Really intricate glitchy type music made by a French-man

Jane - Panda Bear's other band that is really cool

Gary War- Kind of like Blank Dogs but crazier

Wet Hair - band formed with members of Raccoo-oo-oon. Duo keyboard/synthesizers/other stuff and Drums

Peaking Lights - A lo-fi drone band with a girl singer and very pretty melodies

That Fucking Tank - Cool drum and guitar/bass duo that takes sounds like a Fucking Tank destroying your Fucking House.

Sore Eros - lo-fi pop music that is pretty good...not the best on the list but worth checking out, it may be your favorite.

Mikron 64 - All 8-bit German pop music

Halmens - Japanese pop band from the earlier 80s with awesome catchy melodies.

Dragon’s Den w/ Metronome the City and Hat Talk

Oh hells yes. 10 days. 9 shows. Intensity. We decided to take that Monday, the 29th off to get a little break before the hardcore stretch of shows. It's worth it.

Everyone should check out all the bands we're playing with too. They're all really awesome. We still have TBA's but we're looking into filling the soon. Shouldn't be too hard right? RIGHT?

We also have a bunch of really awesome shows before the tour, for example, you see we're playing with metronome the city and Bertha? You need to go to that one. Aw yea.

We're also participating in a Haiti relief benefit show at Loyola University in March.

And to top it off we're joining Foburg Festival for the first time in March as well, playing with such names like Caddywompus, A Living Soundtrack, Giant Cloud, Blue Party, Silent Cinema and many, MANY more. This should be really fun. On our day we'll be playing with Megafauna from Austin (which we also just so happen to be playing with on tour? hmm) and Big Fat and Delicious from right here in NOLA.

Things are looking pretty awesome in the world of HIOE. We see a new tide coming in of HIOE heads. New opportunities. New everything. Very exciting.

So check this out. We've been writing a little bit more. Continuing our Lacanian LP. This is going to be an AWESOME record. Some shit on here we've yet to figure out how it came to be. So lovely.

Speak no Evil, a new management company for instrumental rock in the south, is now on the rise. We're a part of it. As of right this second it's basically a blog, but we soon hope to see it explodes. It'll probably help us get press, and things of that nature. Any press is good press amirite?

But we have a new song which is addition number deux in the Lacanian LP. The song is called MASTER SIGNIFIER. Soiled your pants yet? We'll wait.

Also we're in the process of making stickers and stencil t-shirts. "Hey Andrew, now what in the WORLD you mean by stencil t-shirts????" Well since you asked. The idea has come up by SWAKS that we invest in stencil t-shirts. I'm down.

The idea is simple. Create about 5-6 stencil designs. Buy several blank colored t-shirts. Buy spray paint. boom. HIOE t-shirt. On top of that we're also going to let people bring in a random shirt they have and put a stencil on that. make it even more personal to the fanz. So if anyone has any stencil/sticker designs that they would like to throw our way, be so kind as to do so. so. so.

and in super-duper recent news the neckbeard hiatus may finally be coming to an end. The members got together and discussed what they want to future of neckbeard to look like. There was laughter and crying but in the end it looks like there may be a new neckbeard. So here is the low-down on the whole thing. I (Evan) and no longer doing the band due to High in One Eye and my otra band Thom Hobbes, which is going to be pretty awesome, and the band will continue without me.

Andrew, Alex, and Rob aren't quite on the same page as to what they want the sound to be. Andrew wants something either extremely techy or extremely chill, Alex wants more groove, and Rob....well Rob just wants to play. Possible new guitarist addition also discussed. To hear more about this from remaining member, hopefully they post something for you guys.

As for more High in One Eye new, this Friday December 12th we shall be playing a show at the Dragon's Den with Good Day For An Airstrike (last show eveeeeeerrrrrr so come see them one last time), A Living Soundtrack (our first show with themmmmmmmm), and us (come see us play the big other).

Lacanian sounds are forming and ideas are a-poppin for our future musical output.

Hopefully some new songs will be done soon, and a brand new addition to Lacan entitled Jouissance will hopefully be playable, and if not playable live we will eventually record it for you fine folk.

Anyways, I hope this post was informative and hopefully you are excited for the future of music being ushered in by the future of music beings.

Hello High in one Eyers. Our update today will be short and sweet. So very sweet. This weekend was/is Voodoo fest. So we're partying. So hard. Today is the FLAMING LIPS SWEET ZOMBIE JESUS!! Well golly! We came out with a new Single! It's entitled "Love Itches" and it's yours fo FREE at Bandcamp. You can also listen to them on the Myspace. This recording is only possible because of Devin Hildebrand of Mojo Method and Sun Hotel. Recording genius he be. We think it sounds awesome. The entire track has this slapback delay thing going on. So tasty.

So This past Monday we played at Loyola's Music Industry Forum in front of 100 + peeps. Everyone seemed to enjoy it! I'm not sure if you noticed the different colored print and boldness but that was one of our "surprises."

This Thanksgiving, High in One Eye and Museyroom are putting together a tiny South Louisiana Tour the three days after Giving of Thanks. Museyroom, compiled of our good friend Jack Donovan from Loyola and his two buddies from back home (Brooklyn) Matt and Ben, is a trio of wurlitzing (that was used because there is actually a wurlitzer used in the group) and mesmerizing proportions. With influences from Animal Collective to the Beaches Boys to Classical music, they give hook, danceability, and a wonderful taste on your tongue.

We'll be taking them around Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and home sweet home New Orleans. Ben and Matt will be traveling from Brooklyn in a CAR. So be sure to come out and not let their trip be for nothing.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st, we're playing a gig at the Dragon's Den with Mojo Method and Big Fat and Delicious. This is going to be a show to see. Large turnouts, birthday surprises, and a great way to get rid of stress on a Tuesday. Show doors open at 9 and it's 5 bucks. A coooool 5 bucks. So you should go and here us play.

And did we mention we have a new song? It's pretty cool. A little post-rocky with some electro acoustics in the end. Whats NOT to like about that?

All the Loyola kids are back in session and the school is hustlin'. Amidst all the tom foolery we maintain our cool, and getting more shows. ALSO. There's this KILLIN bang called Many Arms. They're coming down to the N.O. in November with a german lightning bolt esque group and basically, if you miss that...Fuck you.

All in all the first day of classes seemed to go just fine. We're also looking to expand our playing with other groups. Some tasty jams in the future. Very tasty. So stay hooked on it BRUH.

The EP was produced, mixed, and recorded by our good friend Devin Hildebrand of Mojo Method. The whole thing took and afternoon and a late night, and at the sacrifice of a couple of slices of pizza, honey baked ham, and a few pwned nUbs in Halo 3, we came out with a pretty nice sounding block of music. Feedback is WONDERFUL. If you care to share with us your thoughts on the album, anything you liked, disliked, or whatever, come tlk to us, message us and we'll talk it over. We always like to here back from the people who took time to listen.

Well as far as news goes, we've been playing a bunch around town and trying to get more and more to eventually branch out of the city. The next show for us coming up is on August 17th with SWAK (also they just came back from a big break with new songs and a new attitude, you gotta check em out.) and Native, a fairly established group! Its on a monday so all the kidz who had to go back to skool, SKIP!

Hopefully getting a write-up with Anti-Gravity soon. That should be fantasmicz. Maybe Static TV too, or anyone else that would like to shine some light on the experimental music we do.

My Fatherland or My Headscarf

Here is a blog update just because it has been quite some time since this bad boy has been updated. A lot of stuff going on musically for us guys in this here band. I figure I will take this blog to update on all of the musical stuff going on with both of us.

Andrew and I are in a hardcore punk band called Shanks which shall be playing a few shows this and next month. The main show we will be playing will take place at the Zeitgeist. That show is August 2nd with a lineup of Shanks, High in One Eye, Cliff Hines, and Wizmar. A show not to be missed.

Also our other instrumental band Neckbeard shall be playing a show July 25th at the Dragon's Den with Motion Turns it One, I, Octopus, and Wildfires.

This summer and upcoming school year shall probably lead to more musical endeavors with the Andrew/Evan denominator. This upcoming school year we hope to form a trio with a member of one of Andrew's other bands New Grass. No idea what this will sound like but I am sure it will please all of our technical fans and all of those catchy pop lovers, but maybe it will be very out there and no one will enjoy it at all...who knows.

I will be doing a few side projects with two other people. One shall be with a guitarist doing a bunch of loops and the other with a girl that listens to a lot of indie music.

Andrew had the idea of starting a thrash jazz sort of group also...so that may happen.

This year will hopefully provide a year of growth for both of us to a point where we come back with a more refined and more mature sound.

High in One Eye has a few shows come up this month and the next but not that much. Hopefully we will be getting out there more and more once the summer months pass us by.

Delving into what is a truth. What we perceive as true on a sensuous plane can most likely be considered true. That statement can not be felt sensuously thus verifying it's truth so we go around in circles.

New songs are on the way....very interesting new songs that have many different contrasting parts that range from pearl jam-esque guitar riffs to middle eastern dance music. We need to fine tune these songs and make them market fresh, but until then you all have some new music to look/listen forward to.

This year shall be a good one on many different levels. Be sure to be on a look out for our other projects.....but also make sure to be on the look out for High in One Eye

Building Moral Machines

So today Andrew and I had a much over due practice in my garage. This was our original practice space which was with us during the days of fungus u can't kill and gave birth to High in One Eye. Such songs such as Cocaine and Jalapeños, ZOMG I Don't Understand Shakespeare, and Love in B Minor were first fleshed out in the garage that can double as an oven. Today was another special day in the garage. Today we came up with the basic idea of a new song that is totally bad asasrasnnssr arse. Everything you could want in a song is in this song from mellow groove rich sections to middle eastern dance music. As of right now it is basically an amputee...it is just missing the legs to get it up and running into a fully functional song. Hopefully we will be able to finish the process soon and be able to present this beautiful piece to you people soon enough.

Here we are in the ever so lovely month of May looking towards June and opportunities out the wazoo. We just recently wrapped up a show this pass Sunday with Who by Fire (Man Man/ Tom Waits/ other shit) and Your Drugs My Money (NOISE) and Dingle (uhh) and it was quite the funzies. We decided to do a little improv in the spirit of the craziness going on that night. We played some favorites (i.e. Cocaine and Jalepenos and 400 Tiny loudspeakers) and people threw up them devil horns. Being on a Sunday, we had oh NINE THOUSAND PEOPLE

minus 8,980 ish or so. But still it was quite ballin. I broke a string, evan gave someone a seizure, we both left tired and feeling good.

WHAT THE FUCKS NEXT???!?!?!?

Yes that's right shows. Evan recently went on a message spamming frenzy to many bands which hopefully led to some positive news. We got some shtuff set up June 11th, June 26th (Pending) and July 3rd. Hopefully we can throw in two or three more in between those. ALSO. Since evan is back home we're gonna go back to the original practice den....EVAN'S GARAGE. That's where the "magic" happens. Pretty much all our songs were made in that hot, sticky, sexy, and inspiring compost. We're going to make sweet tunes. Excited? Better get there. Take a cab.

Update

This week Evan and Andrew shall be diligently studying for their final exams.

And as Andrew mentioned in the previous blog High in One Eye shall be recording May 18th. Hopefully we will have stuff for you people to buy sooner or later.

The summer is 3 days away and plans for the summer are shaping up. Shall there be a tour in the future? Who knows. What I do know is that the members of Neckbeard retreating into our practice space for a week without any outside contact. This shall be a week of hardcore practice and music writing which will hopefully lead to some awesome music.

My other summer plans include books.
MANY MANY BOOKS!!! This section of the blog shall be consumed by books that I will hopefully read over the course of my summer vacation. That week of practice will probably have hours of reading strewn about it. Here is a list of books that I shall hopefully read during this summer (with pictures) Sorry this isn't about music...but it sort of is about High in One Eye in an odd way. Books can influence music right?

Other ideas for the future that I have had and not really discussed with Andrew.

I believe that it would be cool to have a show where we cover an album of a band we enjoy and that no one really listens to. The first album that I would enjoy covering is Pink and Brown - Shame Fantasy II.

Now I imagine Andrew to disagree with this completely, which is fine. If we only learn a few of the songs off the album and perform them in our sets I would be satisfied. I believe the learning of other material would benefit our creative ideas and make us better song writers, sort of like learning jazz standards, we could make a book of NOISE/EXPERIMENTAL/MATH standards. You should go out and buy this album because it is definitely one of the best noise-pop records you could get your grimy little hand on. Buy it at Load records...some where online.

Apparently there are free pancakes in the Orleans room so I may go get some and then continue to study that PSYCHOLOGY.

High in One Eye shall make some sweet sweet music over the summer and we shall continue to deliver music fans. Recordings shall be coming out sooner or later and all shall be good.

Hello there folks. Andrew here with a little update on whats going on here in High In One Eye world and what i''m hoping to do in the FFFUUUTTTUUURRREEEE.

Our other band Neckbeard is going into the studio soon. We're getting a pretty sweat deal as well. ALSO, High In One Eye can grab whatever studio time is left, so free studio time! yaaaay.
This summer should be mad epics. We have a lot of time to kill, which means, a lot of writing, playing, and hhhwackin around, which always leads to good things. HIOE has a bright future ahead of itself, or at least we think so. The fever is catching on, spreadin like that flu....swine flu....there I said it. We're hoping to spread our seed across the east soon. Eventually we're going to branch out of the south and hit up areas where those little dots show up at the bottom of the page on the map. So it's. gonna. RULE.

Oh and check this. Our most recent show with Neckbeard and Smiley at Sachmos was WEBCASTED online. It's pretty friggin sweet. Much thanks to Kelle Ory for setting it up and Alex Marse for bringing his camera, and doing the best he could with the software. But kelle saved the day and now we have it up on le internets!! go check out artistshosue.com for details and find HIOE!

we have completed a new song that involves a lot of random stuff. We do some full fledged white boy jazz...and funk. We also do some of that typical high in one eye stuff. Song title being the synthesis of nihilistic nostalgia. Plug that into your DAC. We also have a bunch of videos of a bunch of our songs on that youtube website.

Hopefully we will get those Instrumental Festival CDs soon so that you kids can buy some CDs and we can finally get your money and spend it on useless equipment that masks how terrible we are at our instruments.

I saw Metronome the City last night at the Bank Street Bar. They are definitely the one band of the city that I would recommend everyone to see. These guys are under appreciated. They have been doing this instrumental music longer than most of us and they do it better than all of us. I could go on forever about this band for they are up there with the instrumental greats if you ask me. Anyways....go check em out.

I have noticed that more and more people have been viewing this blog from around the country...and some people in Europe. That is pretty awesome...keep telling your friends from other states about us. Once we go on our huge world tour we want everyplace we visit to know our name from a previous date.

I am reading this book called Decolonizing the Mind by Ngugi Wa Thing'o right now. All you kids out there should read it for there are many interesting ideas to be taken from this book.

SO GUESS WHAT. False information has been delivered to us. We recently received a message from Who by Fire saying, "Woops, the show isn't until MAY 17TH. We messed up. Sorry!"

So in your heads, change that internal clock to go the High In One Eye show on MAY 17th, not APRIL 17th. To avoid confusion we're going to change the flyer date...in the future of course because that would require effort, time, and a bunch of other things we either can't afford, or bother caring about. And so we leave you with nothing more but a date change.

AS YOU SEE HERE, we have a show before the May 17th one. The next show is Thursday, APRIL 23rd at Loyola UnderGround (Sachmo's). Basically if you don't know where it is, go to Loyola, go to the building with all the pretty big windows, and then go underground! You can't miss it. We're going to be playing with our other band Neckbeard as well along with local favorite, Smiley with a Knife. Should be fun fun fun. So come on by and we should have the revisions done by then to the flyer. Did i mention it's free? oh yes. fa fray fray.

This lovely little poster is for our show coming up on Friday, April 17 with Who by Fire and Your Drugs, My Money from Los Angeles. Yet again at the Den. They've been pretty good to us. Who by Fire, the main organizers for this show, invited us to join the party after adding us on the Myspace. We replied with a simple, "dig the tracks," and from there started a rather small contact relationship. And now look where it has taken us! So this Friday come on down. Show starts at 10 p.m. We may be a little tardy due to the fact that that night is Sarced Heart's prom. Both of our lady friends attend said school aaaaaaand BLAM! Booked a show on the same night, UNKNOWINGLY, by the way. All that aside we collaborated an idea and decided to try and get us playing towards the end. It would make our lives 10 times easier.

So if you've been keeping up you'll notice that we now have some videos posted on our Myspace, and right here on the blog on the "gidget." Those videos are from the April 9th show, which was, in fact, a success! We had fun. Fun things happened. And now you can see some of our new songs that weren't recorded before. So give it a listen, drop us a comment, send us hate mail, anything you want really.

This is a pretty cool blog. Andrew sent me an e-mail and what not so now I too can bring updates to all you beautiful people out there. We can talk about our feelings and girl troubles. Did you notice that cool little map thing? I didn't know anyone knew about our existence.

We have a show this Thursday. For more information on that view the previous post. This post will pertain to the newest song called LOVE ITCHES. It is a brand new song which was fully completed on MONDAY (the day we typically practice) APRIL 6th. It is a dandy little jig that takes all the things you love high in one eye for, and then we blend that together and dump the warm creamy-ness all over your brand new air jordans. We shall perform it this Thursday so now you have yet another reason to come apart from the kick ass bands such as smiley and pumpkin. We will hopefully get a video on our songs up on this piece also, including love itches.

A little background on the title love itches. I bought a BAUHAUS album a while back and on the track entitled Dark Entries there is a part where in the background there are vocalists screaming DARK ENTRIES over and over again. To my ears it sounded like they were shouting LOVE ITCHES so I figured that would be a cool name for a song. THUS, out popped LOVE ITCHES and your mind shall be in a catatonic state once we follow it up with cocaine and jalapeño. Look at that tilde.

VIDEOS AND OTHER GREAT STUFF WILL SOON BE COMING YOUR WAY....WE ARE VARY LAZY WHEN IT COMES TO OTHER STUFF BESIDES MUSIC!!! Woo post number two! We just want to let you guys know about the upcoming show on April 9 at the Dragon's Den. This show should be fun, because we'll be unveiling a new song, Love Itches! Two other bands will be playing with us, Smiley with a Knife and Pumpkin. Yes that's right. Pumpkin. You know. That orange mass of smelly goodness around haunting season. Well picture that, in music format. This is essentially Pumpkin's show and we're tagging along like sick geese trying to find our way home. But still, it's going to "funzies."

We will most likely play first followed by Smiley with their soft, ambitious, toe-tappin' instrumental junk. And then Pumkin will take the stage stealing your hearts and making you wash behind them stanky ass ears.This will be a lot of fun considering we havn't played for a little while. Not too long. We seem to be getting a lot of shows at the Dragon's Den. Maybe they enjoy sparatic, skitzofrantic, OCD speed junkie instrumental tunage. And if you feel the same, well by all means, STOP BY! You can stay a while too. No one will complain, we promise.

So there it is. Shows starts at 7 pee eminem. If we are playing upstairs it will cost $5 but according to ze flyer it will be that anyway. Plus, if you don't bring money to a show, to at least buy a beer or leftover crack, why bother coming. HA! No seriously. Come by for some killin' tunes and good times with silly people.
